The Provocative Challenges of a Sustainable City in Santo Domingo; This research is an analysis of the increasing problem of a warming climate system through consequences of human activities. Climate change is causing an uncertain future for humanity and Earth. Cities and island countries in the Caribbean, like Santo Domingo and Puerto Rico, are not exempt from these global and local climate changes.

Bio: William is an adjunct Lecturer at the New York City College of Technology in Brooklyn, NY, with a Bachelor of Architecture from CCNY, Bronx, NY. Among William’s academic accomplishments are: his desire and academic commitment to maintain a high GPA to prove himself and other that with hard work and commitment anybody can accomplish anything. He graduated with honors Summa Cum during his undergraduate studies. As an adjunct, he teaches architecture students by sharing his knowledge of the field, construction techniques from his own life experiences, and teaches them how to be focused and achieve excellence. Over the years, William has gained experience in construction planning, schematic design and construction administration in the field.
