Experience at JPL

Pedro Sequera; pursuing PhD in Mechanical Engneering was a JPL Minority Student Summer Fellow at the NASA Jet Propulsion Laboratory in Pasadena, California. His duties included developing a flight transect and ground support in the Los Angeles area in preparation for the HyspIRI mission (a new satellite to be launched in 2020). To better understand the summer max temperatures in the LA area spatial distribution the stations, along with 5 wind profilers in the area are going to be used as ground support during the August 2013 AVIRIS and MASTER flight campaigns.
