The main goal of the workshop is to inspire master, doctorate and postdoctoral fellows to tune their careers to meaningful intellectual outputs, and to show them –via examples and guidance- of how to reach a successful career in academia, industry or government.
The workshop is open to master students, doctorate students, post-doctoral researchers, and special guests who can share their experience for success in industry, academia, and government.
The activity will allow guests to share professional/life experiences and inspire dialog in such subjects, allow the students to discuss –informally their research- and receive friendly feedback on how his/her research can have an impact in science and society and allow an open discussion on the challenges faced through the journey .
The workshop is organized by the Earth Science and Environmental Sustainability (ESES) Graduate Initiative and the CUNY Remote Sensing Earth Systems (CREST) Institute
